When I first set up my website/blog it was after a long time of people asking me if I had one and telling me that I should have one.
“But you’re in the Internet business. You should have a website”.
And they were right!
But when I started it I fell into the ‘blogger’ trap. It looked like a blog when it should have looked like a website that was also a blog. Afterall, my target audience are not my industry peers or bloggers, my target audience are potential clients and existing clients.
The blog look can be quite intimidating with all those rants and opinons flying about and any service that is supposedly being sold can get lost behind all the words.
So, here is my new blog after applying a nice little (less harsh) theme with lots of inbuilt tools, my limited design skills and a few selling points. I think I’m happy with it now. At least the colour scheme matches my business cards!
